Thus, helping them bring a new energy to the team and make them more aligned towards organizational goals.  These speaker sessions can be one on one, or group sessions where the speaker talks to an audience about his/her personal experience and follows it up with a question and answers session. Another format is a workshop conducted by a professional speaker where the audience has to partake in team building games and activities and understand the changing dynamics through a series of tasks and takeaways.

How women speakers in India guide the Audience

The past fifty or so years, corporate india, like the western counterpart has undergone a mammoth change. Working women in India also have come a long way. Workplace discrimination has reduced. Workplace hostility and salary imbalances have reduced also, although there is a long way to go. They’re educated, intelligent and moving up the rungs of their professional careers at a fast pace.

One can find women in various leadership positions - CEOs, CFOs, HR Heads. Women speakers in India are in high demand these days. Since they bring the perfect mix of EQ & IQ to a seminar or session. Women speakers in India are increasingly becoming more important to address equality and diversity issues in the work place.

However, regardless of how successful women are today, many are still underrepresented at the top. Though discrimination does exist, studies and testimonials from successful women leaders have shown they themselves can be responsible for holding themselves back.  Women speakers in India need to focus on two major issues:

Comparisons won’t get you anywhere. As a result of societal pressures – to be more fit, to be prettier, to be a better mother, to be a better manager - women have a fixed idea of how they should perform in all these areas. Falling short in any one these areas makes them constantly doubt themselves and give up. If there is a comparison you want to make – make it with your own self. If you are better than the you of yesterday, then that is what is crucial. Women speakers will help society understand the intrinsic issues that plague working women today.

Don’t see gender biases:  Women are often faced with gender biases, though today it is often subtle and unconscious – making it harder to track down. Having to constantly fight back and earn the promotion is tiring and disheartening. No matter how qualified they actually are, it can make them feel that they actually don’t deserve it.  Women speakers in India are aware of these roadblocks and can successfully address and guide the audience.

Importance of Inspirational Speakers in India

Change is the only constant. This oft used phrase has never been more true than it is today. Companies employ inspirational speakers in India these days to help their teams and employees to cope with the change and uncertainty. Inspirational speakers motivate and challenge the audience to think differently and challenge themselves.

Inspirational speakers in India usually are the CEO’s or upper management professionals who have faced and seen a lot of changes and dealt with uncertainty in their careers and emerged successful. These speakers build a rapport with the audience by sharing personal stories and anecdotes and arm the audience with strong takeaways to tackle any tough work situation they are faced with.

Inspirational speakers are employed by companies to communicate strategy in a clear and concise way and through motivational speeches that the speakers will give to the audience interspersed with company messaging. Even the audience feels it is safer to speak their mind when there are external speakers – because they are an unbiased third party and the company seniors are not present in these sessions. So employees feel it is okay to share any issues and concerns they might have and the speakers in turn help them out either through anecdotes or some practical takeaways that they can incorporate in their daily use.

Keynote Speakers in India

Keynote Speaker is one of the most misunderstood in the meetings industry. Many people confuse Keynote Speakers in India and abroad with motivational speaker, inspirational speaker, plenary speaker, breakout speaker, industry expert, etc. Any of the above speakers could actually be a keynote speaker, but most professional speakers are not actual keynote speakers and most keynote speakers can’t or don’t do all the rest.

Keynote Speakers in India and abroad should be able to capture the essence of the client meeting and be able to highlight it to the audience in a short period of time. In order to capture this essence, the keynote speaker should be willing to spend the time researching the client industry, issues, and audience. A keynote usually establishes a main underlying theme. In corporate and commercial settings, greater importance is attached to the delivery of a keynote speech.

A good keynote speaker, to quote communications expert Nick Morgan,“tells the audience something it doesn’t know or hasn’t thought about in precisely that way.  A good keynote speaker changes the world by changing the audience in front of him or her.”

A keynote speaker may use humor, audience participation, show funny clips, or even sing. No matter, what tactic a speaker employs, the job is to weave the keynote message into the program in a memorable and fun way. A keynote speaker may work independently, be represented by a speakers’ bureau.
