Women Speakers in India- The Outstanding Speakers Bureau

The past fifty or so years, corporate India, like the western counterpart has undergone a mammoth change. Working women in India also have come a long way. Workplace discrimination has reduced. Workplace hostility and salary imbalances have reduced also, although there is a long way to go. They’re educated, intelligent and moving up the rungs of their professional careers at a fast pace.

One can find women in various leadership positions - CEOs, CFOs, HR Heads. Women speakers in India are in high demand these days. Since they bring the perfect mix of EQ & IQ to a seminar or session.

However, regardless of how successful women are today, many are still underrepresented at the top. Though discrimination does exist, studies and testimonials from successful women leaders have shown they themselves can be responsible for holding themselves back.  Women speakers in India need to focus on two major issues:

·   Comparisons won’t get you anywhere. As a result of societal pressures – to be more fit, to be prettier, to be a better mother, to be a better manager - women have a fixed idea of how they should perform in all these areas. Falling short in any one these areas makes them constantly doubt themselves and give up. If there is a comparison you want to make – make it with your own self. If you are better than the you of yesterday, then that is what is crucial. Women speakers will help society understand the intrinsic issues that plague working women today.

·    Don’t see gender biases:  Women are often faced with gender biases, though today it is often subtle and unconscious – making it harder to track down. Having to constantly fight back and earn the promotion is tiring and disheartening. No matter how qualified they actually are, it can make them feel that they actually don’t deserve it.  Women speakers in India are aware of these roadblocks and can successfully address and guide the audience.
